esus' prediction of his coming in judgment in Matthew 16:27f is taken from several Old Testament prophecies. In Matthew 5:17f Jesus said that none of the Old Testament would pass away until it was all fulfilled. All futurist eschatologies say the OT has been abrogated, but then, they cite the OT for proof of a yet future coming of Christ! How can you appeal to an abrogated covenant to prove anything? This has tremendous implications for all futurist eschatologies!
