Theme: The Resurrection and the Millennium It seems almost impossible to think, but every year seems to get better and better! Our 2009 PPW was just fantastic! We introduced two new speakers to our seminar line-up– Jerel Kratt and Bryan Lewis-- and they did not disappoint! In fact, they were the hit of the seminar! This year’s conference focused on the resurrection and how it relates to the first century end of the millennium. With so many views of the millennium the speakers focused on demonstrating that the millennium ended in the first century, and is focused on the consummation of God’s promises to Israel. Very, very powerful stuff! Here is just a sample of the material presented: The Millennium as the Hope of Israel-- Larry Siegle The Transition from Flesh to Spirit-- Jerel Kratt Jack Scott: 1 Corinthians 15 and Revelation 20-- Resurrection and the Millennium William Bell-- The Millennium: Past, Present or Future-- (William's Material on Ephesians and the Millennium was excellent!) Don K. Preston; Three lessons on 1 Thessalonians from his upcoming book. Also, Preston presented a critique of Kenneth Gentry's Revised (2009), He Shall Have Dominion book, in which he condemns true preterist as heretics. This lesson alone is worth the price! Tremendous stuff! |
